i've started playing the gaem! it's very cute and cozy and it's making my brain tingle (positive)! super excited for the release.
btw your twt is set to verified DMs only- creators not paying for twt can't DM! was wondering if streaming the demo was okay and if there's a discord set up to yapp/chat about the gaem and ideas!
suggestion: make the popup menu for decore/ingredients movable or pop up under the main gaem window, as when it pops to the side part of the menu is missing and the full gaem requires a big drag/move (on a 24in monitor)--and then back after closing the menu window). resizing down 1 makes the whole gaem *very small*
thank you so much for the kind words and feedbacks! I'm really glad you enjoyed the game π₯Ή
I've just realized that about my Twitter's DM, will check on that later.
About the popup menu, I can understand the struggle. But due to technical limitations and the way the game was designed (being on top of other windows), it's really hard to implement a movable popup without complex calculations while still allowing the user to interact with the windows behind.
absolutely understandable! i wonder if it would be possible to have the popup spawn vertically above or below the main game window instead of to the side?
also loving the name change! it really opens up the expansion for more vendors in gaem!
i have a question about deleting/selling decorations/vendors, is there a refundable amount/rate or is whatever spent completely gone?
That was actually how I implemented it at first. But still that comes with a problem that macOS users won't be happy about. So I decided to put it on the side. Seems like I need to tinker with it later :D
Btw, I haven't really replied to your previous questions π You can stream the demo as you like! I would really love to watch the stream myself. Tell me when and where you're planning to stream it and I'll happy to be there.
Deleting decorations will not refund any amount of money atm, maybe it's better to return a percentage of it's price. Deleting vendors shouldn't be possible though π€ Did you somehow managed to do it?
Great cozy project, I've been following it's development and glad that the demo came out, congratulations!
Perhaps it should be migrated to mobile platforms in the future - I would love to cook ramen peacefully before falling asleep :)
Thank you! There are tons of people asking about mobile ports. I currently have no plan for it but we'll see :D
Do you have plans to publish this on Steam?
Yes! :D
Nice, when do you think that will happen? :)
I'm planning to release it by Q3 2025 if everything goes well
Just the demo, or the full game?
oh that's for the full game. I'm hoping to release the demo on Steam by Q1
weee⦠finally this game had demo :)
nice game :D
hehe thanks! βΊοΈ
Woah... Is this Rusty? π
heavily inspired by Rusty ππ
baru nyobain, lucu ini XD
This is a nice idle game, I like the simplicity of it's artstyle too. One problem though, my fingers are crippled from trying to cut up so many ingredients, could you make it easier somehow?
Btw, a suggestion: Float festivals that occur periodically, could increase income or bring more customers in. Or maybe just a minigame for yen?
Thank you! I'm planning to add something like employee system where you can assign them to do the soup/cutting/buying ingredients so it can truly be an idle game.
About the festivals, that's a great suggestion! And I think I get your point. It often gets boring just to wait for the money to come in. There should be incentives for you when you are actually focusing on the game.
